Potomac Testing was established in 1985 and marks the year 2010 as its 25th year of providing excellent service and continued constant growth well into the new millennium. We operate as an independent electrical testing authority professionally separate of manufacturers, suppliers and installers of equipment.

As President of Potomac Testing, Mr. Bassett brings with him over 30 years of experience in the electrical field. Since Potomac Testing's inception 25 years ago, Mr. Bassett has continued to manage the day-to-day operations in a positive and supportive work environment. His dedication to qualified personnel reflects unsurpassed customer service and immediate response time.

He is responsible for overseeing the final status and growth philosophy of Potomac Testing. The development of markets and the expansion of this company require leadership and innovation. Potomac Testing's organization structure affords Mr. Bassett the opportunity to work on a wide array of matters to accomplish this end.

Mr. Bassett is currently Treasurer of the International Electrical Testing Association (NETA). NETA provides certification of businesses and technicians in the electrical testing field.

Our Project Managers are assigned to individual projects and follow through each project from original bid proposed to final report submission and review. These Managers act as customer interface, field scheduling, technical support and project management. Progress meetings are scheduled with the Potomac Testing field service representative and customer to monitor progress and coordinate efforts to assure a safe and thorough program.

With our mobile fleet we are able to provide quick response to emergency and specialized situations as well as our normally scheduled projects. Our Field technicians have scheduled training programs in Safety, Testing and Product familiarity. We are the factory service representative for General Electric, Siemens and have factory training in all distribution equipment. Potomac Testing is familiar with and offers repairs and modernization on all types of manufacturers equipment.
